We drew inspiration from the beautiful embroidery on Telgart dress aprons while creating this jewel. The necklace retains the embroidery composition, but moves them to contemporary wearable form. Both flowers and leaves are manually shadowed with Bohemian crystal and painted with jewellery enamel. Jewellery from Flowers of Telgart collection are made from rose-gold plated brass and are the most technologically complex pieces we ever created. Included in the price of every jewel, is the box with Petra Toth logo. We will donate proceeds from every jewel to folklore group Telgart to help preserve dying traditions in the region.

The Flowers of Telgart

In the darkest corners of our sorrowful soul, embroidered on black mourning brocade, the most beautiful flowers grow. Flowers that have grown in the purest soil, breathing the most fragrant air, cleansed every morning by the crystalline dew, and whose roots sleep in the coldest place of our land during winter. These flowers grow only in untouched meadows in protected areas and cannot be picked. We can only look at them and admire their beauty and wonderful scent. They became an inspiration to women who served this land their whole lives. And they longed to be beautiful and happy. And just as no flower on earth is the same or perfect, the imperfectly beautiful flowers embroidered on the aprons of women hid deeply buried sorrows and fears. In every stitch of embroidery lies the story of one of us. Colorful flowers, like joy, always grow from the black ashes of sorrow. It is them, it is us — The Flowers of Telgárt.

Size of the flower 2 x 2 cm, circumference ca. 18 cm. The bracelet has a universal size, you can adjust its circumference to your hand with a simple push.
